- 03Under 18? A parent or guardian confirms first
A karting team where results come from your lap times, never from money, connections or politics. We race from our own local tracks, and our championship rewards the driver who laps most consistently.
Ten laps drawn on top of each other. A consistent driver lays down one tight line, and an erratic one smears across the track. Purple marks the fastest lap, as on an F1 timing screen. This is a simulated driver, not a real result.
01Statement
Four words were used to wave away a confirmed kart fault. We built a team around refusing them.

Document 01
At a rental karting event in 2026, a kart fault that the organisers themselves had confirmed was dismissed with the words "it's part of racing". No requalification was given. Drivers who had paid and travelled to be there were told to accept it.
In rental karting the kart isn't yours, the mechanics aren't yours, and none of the preparation is under your control. Giving every driver a fair kart is the organiser's job.
Calling a confirmed fault "part of racing" is an excuse.
The excuse is not accepted. IPR Racing was founded in June 2026 to race without it.
02Regulations
Consistency Championship sporting regulations
Our members live in different cities, so the championship is raced from your own local track. It rewards the hardest skill in a rental kart, which is lapping the same time again and again.
Ten consecutive laps at your local track. Drive more if you like, and your best 10 in a row are scored.
Onboard footage, a photo of the timing screen, or a written log taken straight off the display.
Your coefficient of variation decides the month. Lower is better.
The ten lowest CVs each month score points. Most points from July to December is champion.
Drive more than 10 laps, and if your fastest lap of the session falls inside your scored 10, you earn a bonus point.
Fewer than 10 laps in a row costs 1 point per missing lap, if that session is your result for the month.
A tie in a month goes to the lower standard deviation. A tie for the title goes to the lower average CV, then to more months competed.
No cameras or officials watch our tracks. What you submit is taken as the truth, so be honest with yourself first.
Standard deviation of your 10 laps divided by your average lap. Dividing by the average puts a 28-second track and a 55-second track on equal footing, whatever kart you drive.
Points per month
03Lap test
Type in 10 laps from your last session, or paste a list into the first line. Seconds (41.62) and minutes (1:02.45) both work. Your laps are drawn on the map and scored the way our championship scores them.
Each lap is pushed across the track in proportion to how far it was from your average. Everything is calculated in your browser with the sample standard deviation, and nothing is sent anywhere.
04Standard
Technical standard for IPR events
The long-term goal is our own karting events, at tracks we choose, run the way every rental event should be. Every IPR event will keep these four promises.
Every kart is checked and verified before it goes out, so no result is decided by a faulty machine.
Who you know has nothing to do with what you drive.
Agreed by everyone before the day, and never changed to suit anyone once racing starts.
Results mean something because they are earned on track, by the drivers, and nowhere else.
